Not sure which vaccinations you need?
Kinder 3+
Many schools and universities require students to be vaccinated, including meningitis and whooping cough, before they attend school. Let us help you prepare for the family with back-to-school vaccinations.
Adults 19+
All adults need immunizations to prevent contracting and spreading serious diseases that can lead to ill health, lack of work, medical bills and the inability to provide for a family.
Adults 65+
As we age, our immune systems tend to weaken, which puts us at greater risk for certain diseases, such as the flu, pneumonia, and shingles. Getting vaccinated can help keep you, your family and your community healthy. Medicare Part B and D plans are supported.
travel vaccines
Depending on where you travel, you may encounter rare diseases like yellow fever in the United States. Getting vaccinated will help keep you safe and healthy while traveling.

Frequently asked questions about vaccines
Many health insurance companies cover vaccinations. To ensure coverage, contact your pharmacist or insurance company.
Vaccines are rigorously tested, as required by law, and continuously monitored for safety and efficacy after approval and use. Post-vaccination health monitoring is essential to ensure vaccines meet the highest safety standards.
Mild side effects (arm pain or slight fever) may occur after vaccination. For more information on each vaccine, see their individual vaccine health pages.
Vaccination refers to the process of obtaining a vaccine while immunization refers to the process by which a person is protected from a disease through vaccination.
Many school systems now require that 5th and 6th graders get the Tdap vaccine. Some colleges also require meningitis vaccinations before freshmen can move into dormitories or attend classes. To find out what vaccinations are required for your individual situation, contact your local school district or a specific university.
Influenza (flu) and COVID-19 are both contagious respiratory diseases, but they are caused by different viruses. COVID-19 is caused by infection with a new coronavirus (called SARS-CoV-2) and flu is caused by infection with influenza viruses. Because some of the symptoms of the flu and COVID-19 are similar, it can be difficult to tell them apart based on symptoms alone, and testing may be needed to confirm the diagnosis.
COVID-19 appears to spread more easily than the flu and causes more severe illness in some people. It can also take longer for people to show symptoms and people can be contagious longer.
While more is being learned every day, much is still unknown about COVID-19 and the virus that causes it. This page compares COVID-19 and the flu using the best information available to date.
§ For more information on COVID-19, seeCDC COVID-19
§ For more information on the flu, seehttps://www.cdc.gov/flu/index.htm
While there are some differences between the flu and COVID-19, they also share signs and symptoms. Because of this, it can be difficult to tell them apart based on symptoms alone. Tests may be needed to confirm a diagnosis. Learn more about COVID-19 and flu symptoms.
Yes indeed. It's possible to get the flu, other respiratory illnesses, and COVID-19 at the same time. Health experts are still investigating how common this might be. Some of the symptoms of the flu and COVID-19 are similar, making it difficult to tell them apart based on symptoms alone. Diagnostic tests can help determine if you have the flu or COVID-19.
A flu shot does not protect against COVID-19, but the flu shot has many other important benefits. Flu vaccines have been shown to reduce the risk of catching the flu, being hospitalized, and dying. Getting vaccinated against the flu this fall will be more important than ever, not only to reduce the risk of flu but also to conserve potentially scarce health resources.
It is important to get the flu shot every year because the body's immune response to the flu vaccine declines over time. Influenza viruses can also change from year to year, requiring a new vaccine formulation for optimal protection. It takes up to two weeks for your immunity to build up after the flu shot, so the CDC recommends that you get vaccinated as soon as flu shots are available. Getting the flu shot is the best way to protect yourself and your family from the flu.
This season, flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 are likely to circulate at the same time. Therefore, it is more important than ever to get vaccinated against the flu to reduce your risk of flu and to relieve our healthcare system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
COVID-19 vaccines and other vaccines can now be administered regardless of timing. This includes co-administration of the COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines on the same day and co-administration within 14 days. For more information, seesimultaneous administration with other vaccines.
Quad Vaccine (quadrivalent): Protects against four different strains of the flu virus.
